1. Who we are
VeryFi Pty Ltd (ABN as shown on your tax invoice) provides an AI-assisted quote review service. We are an APP entity under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. What we collect
Account details (via Clerk), payment metadata (via Stripe — we never store card numbers), the quote PDFs you upload, the context you provide (work type, postcode, property type), and the reports we generate. Uploaded quotes may contain commercial and personal information about you and third parties (e.g. contractors).
3. How we use it
To produce your report, operate and improve the service, and — in de-identified, aggregated form — to build market rate benchmarks. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Storage & security
Files are held in a private, access-controlled store with row-level security so only you can access your own quotes and reports. Data is hosted in Australia (ap-southeast-2). We use reputable processors: Supabase (storage/database), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI processing), Stripe/PayPal (payments), Resend (email), Clerk (auth), Sentry (error monitoring).
5. AI processing
Quote contents are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate your report. We apply per-review limits and do not use your quotes to train third-party models.
6. Retention & access
We retain quotes and reports while your account is active and as required by law. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, or make a privacy complaint, by contacting privacy@veryfi.com.au.
7. Overseas disclosure
Some processors may handle data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure they protect your information consistently with the APPs.
